Magento SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column ‘cwd.date’ in ‘field list’ – Upgrade to 1.9.0.1

When you upgrade magento 1.6.0.0 to 1.9, and  reindex data. If you see problem like “Magento SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column ‘cwd.date’ in ‘field list’ – Upgrade to 1.9.0.1”.

Go to “app/code/local/Innoexts/InnoCore/Helper” and find

change above line to

magento installation “index.php/install/” not found

When you are trying to install Magento on some server then you might face this issue.

When you move your installation from one server to another you might see that

1. Your frontend is working fine

2. In your backend your are not able to either login because of redirection to /index.php/admin/…. or you are not able to save any content in the database.

There are many fixes available for this problem like

a. Enable rewrite

How to install magento ?

1.Download magento from “http://www.magentocommerce.com/download” site.

2.Extract that folder and put that folder into www folder.

3.Give full permission to your magento folder following command

chmod -R 777 /var/www/magento

We assume our folder name is magento.

4.Before running site you must make a database through phpmyadmin or command prompt.

5.Now Run the install like http://localhost/magento OR you can make virtual host and write url in browser and press enter.

6. A installer wizard open and fill information like database information, admin information etc.

7. After installtion complete you can check back-end as well as front-end.
